Below is a list of frequently asked questions. Please take the time to read these questions as they may help you in the future with some of the trouble shooting problems you may have. Being able to resolve problems that may occur with the copier yourself will mean you are back up and running without having to wait for a technician to arrive.
When will I receive training on my new machine? As part of your installation you will be given extensive training. Should you require further training our customer service representatives will be happy to book a time with you. (* This may incur additional charges) I am not sure if the copier is on a contract or if I need to pay for a service and toner. If you are unsure you can contact our Customer Service Representatives and they will be able to answer any questions you have relating to the ongoing service arrangements of your copier. My copier is on a contract, what does the contract cover? The contract covers the machine for parts, labour and usually toner. I have replaced the toner in the copier but it is still asking for toner.Check that the tag has been removed from the toner bottle. If the problem persists please contact the service department. What happens when my machine runs out of Toner? The machine will tell you when it needs a change of toner. When this occurs you should have a spare to replace it with. Once you have used your spare toner please contact the Darwin Office Technology Service Department by phone or email to order another spare toner. Can I order an unlimited amount of toner?Toner deteriorates over time, to guard against this happening we suggest the most you order at any one time is two toners. You will need to provide your meter reading and machine number at the time of ordering. I have a line on my copies, how can I fix this?Lines on copies can sometimes be created by something dirty on the glass of your copier, eg liquid paper. Before calling for service try cleaning the glass under the lid of your copier with a scrunched up piece of paper or some windex and cloth. This easy fix may get you up and running without delay. I have a fax machine or fax enabled copier that is having trouble sending and receiving faxes, is there something I can check? Before calling the Darwin Office Technology service department please check that your fax line is active and able to send and receive calls. You can do this by calling your service provider to run a check on your phone line or by plugging in a normal phone to see if you can receive calls and make out going calls. I can’t print from my computer to the copier, is there something I can check? You can check that the network cable is plugged into the copier and into the network point in the wall. You may also want to check with your IT department for any internal network issues you may be experiencing. Further assistanceShould you require technical assistance please contact our Service Department on phone: (08) 8922 2444 or email
